Limeys in Lynchtown

Some of the Gravel Draggers attended the Martinville swapmmeet this weekend put on by Walneck's Antique cycle trader. If you you dont know who Buzz Walneck is then you need to study up on your midwest motorcycle legends, He tracked down and owned the "RoadDog" a massive motorcycle made of car parts engineered by genius mechanic named "Wild Bill" Gelbke.

Anyway the swapmeet was a washout rained all weekend, But we seen some friends from Indy we havent seen since ourshow also got to see a bike painted and striped by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. This bike was to cool luckily one of the Indy guys bought it up, Hope to see it at the World of Wheels finished this winter. Sorry about fuzzy cell pics but the one says Roth and I had to touch it. There was also a hardback 1st edition Hells Angels book I wanted bad but the guy had $150 on it, fuck that it will show up at Goodwill.

Greazy's Shit

This is a set done for another old friend Greazy, He lives on the edge of a town that has been ran down since Interstate 70 was built in the sixties and people quit traveling thru these little towns. The first time I went to get parts from him I stopped at the gas station in Coal City a two pump station with no signs or priced listed, with only cash to buy parts. They of course didnt take debit cards and after that question I didnt even ask about a check. Here are some randoms from my shop. Thinkin about paint'n the outside but dont want white, maybe a stripe around the place or some crazy panels. Thats my shop truck out front, golf carts to rednecks are like scooters to Italians. My Friend Curt

I met Curt when he was fresh out of the joint and I was fresh out of high school, I had a crotch rocket with electrical problems and someone told he was a bike mechanic. Well not only did he fix my bike he taught me how to make homemade tattoo machines (a whole nother story). Sometime later I bought a big twin wannabe triumph off my brother inlaw and Curt has been my go to guy for anything Triumph since. Two triumphs and a sporty later I still visit Curt frequently for parts or stories. He never knows where the parts I need are so I have to remind him, He asked my how I remebered everything? I said I have it cataloged so when you die I can tell your old lady what you left me and where its at. Bucko
